Sometimes the mere thought of auditions can send folks into cold sweats and a near panic attack. But at IWC, we do our best to create a calm, low-stress, confidence-inducing audition experience!

Auditions for the 2025-2026 season will take place on August 9 and 10. Please feel free to fill out an interest form today! More information and details will be sent to you once we receive that.

• Auditions are intended to be low-stress. They are really just a chance for us to get to know you and learn about your voice in a warm and friendly setting.

• We will offer some familiar songs for you to choose from, or you’re welcomed to bring your own music. You’ll only need to sing one verse.

• We’ll also do some simple scales and echoing so we can learn about your range and vocal skills.

• We will share a short section of a song in advance that you will sing with others during the audition and will provide resources for learning it. You will not have to sightread any music, and music reading is not required for membership. We have lots of tools to assist!

• If you are unable to attend the upcoming open rehearsal and auditions, but are still interested in auditioning, please indicate that on the form. All auditions must be completed by August 10.
